I would place more credence in the fact the majority of test and first class players use some form of sleeve on their blades, even through the years binding and pig skin have been used to keep favourite bats going. Can't speak for down under  but hardly any of the proffesionals I know and whose bats I have knowledge of don't use any type of scuff sheet.

looking at a few of those on TV, they prefer the fibre scuff sheet (which to me looks really ugly)

I have to say I was very impressed with the Platinum bats when I was there on the weekend. The profile is lovely and the stickers ooze class.

I have seen it on the site. What I meant was, your bat weight, edge size, spine height etc
