Is that Mav from Asad?  if it's the bat I think it is, then you're a lucky fella.

Yes, it is. I believe Simon also has one from Asad which looks very similar too. Lovely, lovely bat

So this is my 2nd post in this topic and the season hasn't started yet  :(

Decided to streamline some of my kit from the previous photo as the spare room was just full of kit and replaced some of the kit I had for a different brand after an underwhelming experience with one of the bats I had. So this is it for the season - no more purchases requires except for a second set of gloves.

Bats: GN Maverick LE 2.10, Focus Black Label (stickered as GT-S) 2.9, Focus Black Label 2.9
Pads: Focus Evo
Gloves: Focus Evo
Protection: Bespoke Stretton Fox
Helmets: Premiertek Ti, Masuri Test Ti
Boots: Adidas SL22 2016
Bag: Focus Wheelie

And the willow:

Have you done a review on that bag?

The focus stand up bag is the same as the H4L stand up, apart from it has three slightly smaller pockets on one side, whereas the Tempo has two larger pockets..

Not done a review on it, but more than happy to do so. It's the wheelie version, not the stand up. I just store it like that to save space in the back room

I know by CBF standards this is a poor effort and I think it would be fully justified if I was excommunicated from this site...but this is just the kit I have in the USA at the moment, I do have some other kit back in the UK.  I think we will play mainly on astro wickets over here so just need to add some trainers to my kit ( I may just wear some old running shoes).

I've included the ironing board in the picture as this will be used by the misses to make sure my whites are looking sharpe!

I see the bag in the background with more kit in it!

The helmets the same at least!

I've just compared the threads to be certain, but the things I haven't changed (and some of these are scraping the barrel to make the list longer!)

Both pairs of shoes
Arm guard
Helmet & stem guard
Grip cone & grips
Bat mallet
Sidearm
Oakley sunglasses

Basically my whole kit has had an overhaul, my fling with GN lasted about 6 months! :-[

I give it 3 weeks...

I think I may have finally found kit that I'll use for at least one full season! I can't remember the last time I even claimed I'd try to do that...  ;)

Have to say having has salix bats for a long time -in fact I was described by an un-named member of the forum as a salix(woman of the night found in kings cross) I have just got off Mike on here (excellent to deal with) a used h4l hellfire to see what everyone was raving about. It has a remarkable pick up,is massive for 2lb 8 and has a great handle

So I am being converted to h4l. Who would of thought a small outfit could be up there with the big boys for quality..

Now...just need to score some runs with it
