By way of update, I had this knocked in locally during the week. It debuted on Saturday and went like a rocket! The ping was absolutely incredible and I cannot recommend these bats enough.

Such a huge price difference from Greg Chappell's.

Is there a way to confirm its genuine, and not a counterfiet?

From where I see it, it is definitely genuine as MRF bats are made by SS only and the price is worth it. It should certainly not be 850 AUD.

I don't think SS are doing them, certainly not all of them anyway.

Stamps and hologram I reckon. That being said, there were apparently counterfeit CA bats which were almost perfect copies. Was a strange case where they had a very very very thin veneer on the face of the bat, which looked nice but actually peeled to reveal lower quality willow.

I am not sure of the ones sold by GC.
