So there's been a lot of talk about the relevance of handpicking, and the merits of it etc etc. This is not intended to be one of those posts, this is merely intended to let the evidence, and the results, of our meticulous handpicking, speak for themselves.
We saw our UK distributor for SF and CA bats recently, and he brought us a good few bats to choose from. As ever, we were extremely fussy and picked out the ones which we felt were good enough to adorn our shelves and bat racks. We select on a few different factors -
performance is always number 1. You can't score runs with a pretty plank! Pick up, dead weight, looks, shape, size etc all come into it too, so it is quite a complex skill to select the best bats, and we don't always get it right but we feel like we do a decent job most of the time!
Below are four of the bats we selected. Two CA Plus 15000 Players Edition bats, and two SF Black Edition bats. Both of these are pretty rare - and certainly rarely this beautiful, so snap em up quick!
