Where To Get a Plain Arm Guard
« on: October 22, 2015, 09:08:16 AM »

Hi,
For winter nets this year I've been looking for an arm guard due to the lengths bowled on skiddy surfaces. Does anyone know here to get one similar to remfry/stretton fox but without the price tag that goes with them.

Thanks

The Aero arm guards are pretty plain, might be worth checking out

I have seen people wearing them and getting torn to shreds by opposition sledging,

I think you'll find the same sledging regardless of the brand of armguard/chest guard used. If you can stretch for a Remfry though you should, it's like wearing a cast, I couldn't feel a thing. Otherwise Aero or even a Kookaburra Kahuna Players (used by Moeen Ali) might do the trick as well.

Adidas used to do a fairly plain one, and the logo was easily persuaded off with a bit of scratching.
Think they were cheap too (less than £10 from memory)

Sorry to bother you but do you know anywhere that might still stock them.
Thanks

Not as cheap as I remember, but these are the ones I was referring to
