I think Uzi do, but Chris's use of "on here" was possibly not needed on that post.  I'd imagine that we are the only retailer period questioning them about this.

Rob Chambers and an ex batmaker their called Nick Taylor? confirmed it recently.

Pretty sure Nick has moved on, but Rob still runs the business and makes bats.

I haven't posted yet in this topic, but surely those who have laid into M&H feel some sort of guilt, they have spent years building up the reputation of the brand for some of us as 'keyboard warriors' to tear that apart in a matter of moments, as when someone from outside of this forum google's Millichamp, this topic will inevitably come up and be available to be seen from non forum members. At the end of the day whether they are doing right or wrong, we shouldn't be tearing this brand apart as it is still someones life as a business, how would you fancy if someone found out a 'rumour' about your own company and then put it on the internet for everyone to see and then you lose business through an act like that? And again opinions are like ( No swearing please), everyone has one!

Why should they feel any guilt?

Only anecdotal evidence atm. Which wouldn't stand up in court but is enough for an investigation.

M&H have only one qualified bat maker Rob Chambers, no one else who works there can make bats, yes they have person who is a qualified carpenter, he does refurbished and repairs that's it.
Tim is responsible for sales and marketing and there is a young trainee who answers the phone , packs parcels etc.
Do the maths , how many bats do M&H sell per year and how many can one person make per year , it won't equal.
Yes Rob makes a few bats inside the work shop but these are very few and normally only bespoke bat experiences.
People might say it's got nothing to do with us who makes the bats and I would agree to a point but I like many others bought into the "hand made in Taunton " BS and spent hundreds close to thousands over the years investing in some thing it wasn't .
I think Paul knows deep down the truth but has been put into a very difficult place and I don't envy he's position , he's a very honest and reliable retailer with good honest values.

So, I have a question.

With all these speculations, where does this sit in terms of the law, Sales of Goods Act where things are being described inaccurately (ie. proclaiming they are English made whilst they are not, upon true testimony))?

I imagine somebody will have to complain first to trading standards or a similar agency and it will need to be investigated to determine whether the marketing bs is deemed to misleading.  You'll need proof first to make such a complaint with reasonable justification.
