And I suspect that it is quite clear that Si will not divulge the price he paid.
So after 3 or 4 people asking him in this topic, think it's better to not ask any more - just enjoy the pics of the bat porn!  ;)
Obviously ripped the guy off then.

Beautiful SCAT that one.

All I think when people refuse to mention the bargain price they paid is.

"There definately gonna try sell that at a massive profit soon"

I'll sit back and await the "too many bats, won't use them" for sale thread.

I have known Si for a long time and he has never tried to rip anyone off in that time! So get off you high horses lads!! In fact he is one of the fairest people on here!
Si paid a fair but generous price for the bats and the guy was happy.

What does it matter what Si paid for the bats? He has a pornographic pair of sticks and has shared pictures, what more do you need to enjoy the post?
Having dealt with him on numerous occasions (both kit and non-cricket related) I can back up what Pete said, Simon is a top bloke and wouldn't try to rip anyone off.

I may have joked about wanting to buy the bat, but I can honestly say I'm glad someone I consider a friend got it for (what I assume was) a bargain price, and I know it's in good hands. I'm extremely jealous of the bat, as I am sure everyone else will be, but I'm finding all this "he clearly ripped someone off, tell us the price" nonsense unfair and it's detracting from the thread.

Sheeesh.
Sorry Si ( in a puppy dog tone while looking at my toes) for asking a question about a bat on a cricket bat forum.

Lovely bats, good luck with them.

Yeah Julian retired a while back, tried starting a bat making academy but the funding and interest wasn't there from what i've heard.
