Haddin?! He is far from the best gloveman in the world, in my opinion he's one of the poorest keepers in test cricket.

Foster is scarily impressive, his stumping off Napier was insane, can't see many other keepers in the world diving down the legside, taking the ball off a high 80mph bowler and still managing to stump the batsman!

Ben Scott at middlesex is also really impressive but doesn't really get mentioned in best keeper discussions!

Surely Read must be considered right up there for his glovework as he is awesome - if someone like Rodney Marsh considers him in high regard then that's good enough for me. Very underrated batsmen too (which I know isn't the point) as his batting isn't too shabby either if you look at his first class record

I'm with Boydie on this one - It was live on Sky when Foster took that stumping off Napier - it was very close to or was 90mph, a very full ball and taken down the leg side, it was simply the best peice of keeping i've ever seen, so far.

Just look at the stumpings of Yuvraj and Bravo during the World T20..  I suppose it's a good thing that England are a bit spoilt for choice when it comes to keepers

Not a single one of England's keeper/batsmen are world-class all rounders though. Prior's a fine batsman and adequate keeper. Foster and Read are top notch glove men but average batsmen.

Yeah I was going to mention him, hes particularly good standing up to the pace bowlers. Don't know why middlesex have loaned him out!

Chaim, Dinesh Karthik is widely recognised in India as the best glove man. India's best ever glove man, Syed Kirmani, rates him, so he can't be all that bad.

Jeet do you remember how badly Karthik suffered vs  SL last year ? and vs New Zealand in march?

Dhoni may not be the cleanest glover of a cricket ball , but he gets the job done , keeping to some of the best bowlers in the world

The discussion is about glove work.. not overall keeper.. and if you want to talk about suffering badly Dhoni suffers every match he keeps in.. like you said he just gets the job done because his bat makes up for it..
