some new purchases
« on: October 27, 2015, 05:16:22 AM »

Got the Grove about 1 month ago. weight is 2.9 absolutely no concaving and ping scale is around 7/10, it has a light pickup and great balance. The only down side is the thin handles I might get it replaced at bradbury.Cost $350 aus

The BAS 20/20 is my favourite purchase for 2015. It weighs 2.8 slight concaving, 40mm edges and its ping is 9/10. It feels true too weight and extremely well balanced. I would have liked an oval handle but once again if it really annoys me i'll get bradbury to replace it. Cost $460 aus

Really nice mate.

Do Grove make their own bats?

Do Grove make their own bats?

The "Players" grade of bats are marked as 'Made in Aus', so I'd assume the majority are not.

I reallllly want one of those Grove AV24 bats.

Grove is a Meulemans cricket store owned brand. You'll see Adam Voges use it

They are made in india. Same factory that Gray Nicks make theres. Meulemans and gray nicks have had a close relationship for a while now.

Love your taste in gear mate.

I bought a Grove stick last season and it is an absolute cracker. It cost $350, no concaving, lovely pick up and it is now the best pinging bat I own.....and I've got a few.

I'd love a new Bow 20/20 too....I was eyeing one off on Sunday.

BAS Bow 20/20 bats are serious guns! Have never tried a bad one!! Think they must sprinkle these with special fairy dust to turn them into launchers!!

Totally agree Pete. First time I've ever laid hands on one and had to buy it it was that good. No over drying on these babies either
