Adidas 2016 Vectors
« on: October 28, 2015, 12:36:41 AM »

Scrolling through my Facebook and see this image from Romida...

Seems to be the new 2016 Vector colour way, I like the red and blue combo and expect that it will run throughout the whole range?
Once I clicked on the link I saw no 2016 boots though so I guess this is a mistake by Romida?

So Adidas bowling boots are the same for the third(?) year in a row now? How innovative. Still, don't think I've ever seen a pair on the feet of a non-pro player, so who cares ha.

Yes, this is the Vector look for 2016.

I wouldn't be so quick of people to write off Adidas for 2016.

They've got one particular shoe which will blow people's mind!

And the rest of the range has subtle tweaks, like stiffening of the midsole etc, which are welcome moves for a very popular shoe range!

They look amazing, loving the return of the solar blue colours with the orange. Are you allowed to leak any details Chris (just for forum members)  ;) ...

I'm sure Romida had put the 2016 range on their site the other week but looks like this has since been removed.  From what I can remember their was a new Anderson boot which was pretty 'interesting' looking in my opinion... :o

The theory is with the design that the heel section is covered by your whites once being worn so 70% of the boot on show is still white in accordance with ICC regs.

Thats the one, SL22 Boost.

Boost foam in the sole as found under various brand names on running shoes from all the big players in the market. Obviously very different soleplate with no spikes. Apparently worn by a few county players this Summer, including Collingwood with positive feedback. Intended as a batting/fielding shoe obviously, probably no issues bowling spin but not designed for fast bowlers!

Its so light as the framework to hold spikes in place isn't necessary.

Ah that's a shame, I'd consider myself a medium/fast bowler but looks like I won't be using them for that...
