I agree the bats are very special and Matt really does know how to press a bat even the lower end h4l are seriously good bats I love my new custom and the stickers and bat case are the best I have seen

You can say that again both lovely bits of willow and lovely profiles be interesting to see what other people go for profile wise the three I seen so far have all been different

True. Will be interesting as matt can tweak your favourite shapes etc. I wanted a merger of several bats with no concaving which matt did no problems so the possibilities are endless hey.

I exactly what I did had a couple of bats that I wanted to get copied and wanted to have the spine into the toe and have a long middle was happy having a bit of concaving on mine just to keep the weight down as I use a really light bat and wanted to keep the thick toe and big edges the sound it makes of the mallet is so sweet that's for sure

Nice, superb, wow etc. looking grain, i want one! May i know, is it Custom Pro range going to be better looking in term of grain compared to Pro H4L ?

hmmm. Tricky one that as "Better looking" is different in everyone eyes but if you mean number of grains, even, straightness, clean face etc I would guess no as the "pro" model bats all "look" awesome anyway imo. But maybe the clefts for custom bats are the best pick of the bunch more so for weight and ping but any gains might be marginal as they don't overdry clefts and pressing plays a huge part in initial performance which they press well anyway if that makes sense? Maybe idea to ask Matt or Adam to give their view on it.... either way they have so much class willow that it's unlikely Matt cannot find one to your taste.

I got my Custom today, it is top class!! I'll start a new thread when I get time to put some pictures up.

I don't really know where to start, the thing is just immense!! Can't put it down, it's huge. The bat is finished superbly, all the finishing touches are also top drawer. I really like the new textured stickers and grip, the case that they come in is seriously impressive!

All in all its quite obvious that Matt @hell4leather cricket has put a lot of thought and effort into this range and the results are a testament to his skill.

I've ordered another one, need I say more

I was with Matt yesterday and some of the willow and Matt is turning out is some of the best I have seen and I also have another custom on order jb you won't be disappointed they are guns

Without wishing to blow any more smoke up Matthew's ass, my G2 Warbird is astonishingly good, and picks up fantastically.

trust me, you can't get enough h4l bats. lol. Everytime i get one i push Matt to make some thing even better somehow. Lets all see if we can drive him insane lol. What truly shocks me is he does it all himself yet the quality and service gets better and better. Poor chap must be working 20hr shifts. lol

fattus- Yes i saw many G2 bats when i went down ping crazy but I'm a snob,like a pretty bat and even more picky on specs otherwise i would have taken one too as many were the same pickup and ping as the pro grades. Might get one as a back up bat (lame excuse for a bat addict to buy another bat basically  )

Like all good batmakers should be, he's busy making bats. I find the telephone a bit harder to ignore than an email. Alternatively you could go through a trusty retailer and you'll get a better price to boot (wink, nudge)

We've arranged for 3 customs so far and they've been superb. 2 for customers and one for our stock made in the original Tempo profile, pics of that soon.
