Alright chaps, I'm the fixture secretary for Old Vigornians CC and as the title says I've slots to fill for the coming season and I'm looking for other teams within reasonable distance of Worcester to help us break out of our usual match routines; it would be great to play at some more interesting grounds against different teams. We play our home games at the King's School Ground right next door to the Worcestershire County Ground and its a lovely place to play your cricket on a Sunday (unless you're a bowler, they don't call it New Road for nothing) I realise I'm looking for away games primarily but if you can offer me a fixture at your place then its possible I might be able to offer you an away game either 2016 or definitely in 2017. The dates I'm looking for are:

29th May (away)
3rd July (home)
24th July (away)
21st August (away)

There may well be more home fixtures at New Road depending on the replies I receive from the usual suspects. If you have a date to suggest thats not on that list then please go ahead i'm open to anything within reason.

Once the Worcs Sunday league fixtures are published ( usually anytime after the 1st dec) I will look to see if we have a match on the  dates iyou have requested f we have no match I will speak to our fixture sec.

Hi GoldenArm. I play for Flyford Flavell CC. We play friendlies on Sundays and Wednesdays. I've spoken to my fixture secretary and all those dates are currently taken, but we do have some gaps on other Sundays and on Wednesdays. If your interested could you pm me your details and I can get him to get in touch with you. It's a picturesque ground, although its not the best wicket but should be better next year as our roller was out of action for most of this season.
