Aero luggage for 2016?
« on: November 16, 2015, 02:57:06 PM »

Hey folks,

Was just wondering if anyone knows if Aero have any plans to update their luggage for the 2016 season?
Specifically, I'm interested in their stand up bag.
I like the idea of a low-footprint bag in the changing room, separate sections and easy-to-access without lying the thing down.
Anyone had experience of the latest version? (I think the Red/Grey is the latest 2014/15  version, but there's a blue/black one knocking about, which I think is older.)
Correct me if I'm wrong.

I had a older blue/red one. Enough space but actually too big. Looks impressive but not even wicket keepers need that much room. I found it oversquare so while being pulled along it would be unstable, wobble and tilt over. I suggested to them to move the wheels to help this. I hope they've done so.

Best bet is a GN Supernova duffle I would say.

I agree with you regarding the GN Supernova duffle bag which I got from IJC three days ago. It is my first duffle bag and I love it.

spikes
1 pair gloves and balls in 1 side pocket
second pair batting gloves and keeping gloves/innerspring in other side pocket
in the main section I have my pads, thigh guards, chest pad. Have helmet in there too but took it out too show how much space there is - easily enough to get a pair of keeping pads in there too
3 bat padded bat cave
Unpictured: front outer pocket - not got anything in there yet, will use for whites
Bottom front outer pocket - got 2 pairs batting inners and my inhaler in there. Still room for phone wallet keys etc but not much bigger.
Definitely gonna be using this for at least a few years, looks really durable, only negative is the printed branding (@itsjustcricket :p) definitely recommended!!

Thanks, looks plenty big enough for me, how does it feel on your shoulders?

Naturally you can feel that there is quite a bit of stuff, and as it's my first duffle I can't compare it to others but the padding feels nice and once the straps are adjusted to how I needed them it felt just like my DofE Bergen, which I wore for two days straight without a problem so I think it's quite nice
