So I finally managed to make the journey down to see rob last weekend.  Big thanks go to my better half for offering to fund a new bat purchase. Still plenty of kit to sort for next season. We spent most of the morning and afternoon chatting about the new gear designs and looking through samples of the new BR and RPC softs.
There's a lot to come from blueroom soon and as soon as rob gets chance he's going to send me some sneak peaks to share with you guys. Everything is set to change in the new year. A new Avalanche range of softs. Updates to the Bombora range Inc new pads and gloves. The heritage range of softs are being completely re designed and a massive duffle will be joining them. I've not had chance to photograph my bat yet guys but I did take this little profile pic while I had 5 mins in the shop.
Picked put a stock bat believe it or not and rob took me down the bat cave to make a few adjustments. He took some length out of the blade at the toe (only mms) and did some tinkering with the shape of the toe so I kept the huge middle and gained a slightly lighter pick up. I don't have a face pic but she's not what I'd typically go for. This just caught my eye and knocked up phenomenally well. 2.10 fully dressed and I'm absolutely chuffed. As soon as the pics reach me you'll have a post to read and rob would like detailed feedback wherever possible

Believe it or not my good friend she was only marks as a Pro. Has a few blemishes on the face but im trying to ignore that sort of thing nowadays and just look at what the ping is like. Was an impulse thjng to pick it up after seeing the size it. Really does fly and having rob do a little wizardry it picked up how I wanted it to and we didn't lose any size out of the profile. Happy days

They look even nicer in the flesh. They're all embossed and have a holographic like pattern in the blue. He's done a great job on them. Think there's some better pics where you can see the hologram style pattern in another thread I did in the BR section

Here you fella. Can you see the little squared running through the sticker background. Even those have a slight texture to them. Loads of detail and work gone into these

The new softs samples looked very good. A bit of design tweaks to be made but I think everyone will be very impressed

The op bat doesn't look too dissimilar to the shape of the h4l warbird

Robs been doing the avalanche shape since last season. Pure coincidence if that's the case. Although I do like the warbird profile. Matt makes some stonking good bats
