Well and there we were all thinking narrow grains and lots of them!!! hell this gonna be the start of a good debate!!! As the old master seems to think 7 to 9 grains max!! Anything else is a waste ot time!!!!

I put this video up a few days ago.
He didnt say narrow grains is a waste of time. But just wider grains generally produce a longer lasting bat and performs very well.
His mallet he uses looks plastic  ???
I know Julian visits england and chooses the wood, but wondered if he presses his own?
