Thought I'd put a 'review' of sorts up, because I'm pretty sure I'm of the few to get my hands on one of these bad boys. Top marks to
@ItsJustCricket for sorting it, after a few emails I was OK to pick it up tonight after they'd done their own video review, so top customer service from them. Had a quick chat with Paul and Amos who also sang their own praises for it, and understandably so.
First off, the bag is masssssssssive. I'm not a wicketkeeper but it'll quite comfortably take a whole kit. Here it getting warmed up by taking my food shop from Tesco. Beneath the bread is a load of other food. Love the gunmetal/blue colour scheme that GN have gone with for the Supernova range.
Starting off properly with main compartment I've fitted in gloves, pads and my Premiertek down at the bottom, as you can see it'll take a set of keepers pads and a few more bits comfortably.
Really like how the bat compartment has it's own little section, as you can see I've got the MC4000 I picked up from
@Vitas Cricket and a cheap Kookaburra from SD that did the job over the summer. Velcro separators keep it all nice and neat, but you can undo these if you wish.
I'd say the side compartments are quite deceiving in how much space is inside each of them. I don't have much by way of 'accessories' but on the left I've just lobbed some balls in there and I imagine many of you would chuck in grip tape, glove inners and so on so forth. Right side I've gone for the box and P2 strippers. Also useful that both sides have some form of ventilation at the top, very useful.
Valuables pouch at the front, does what it says on the tin. As you can see the drinks bottle bit on the side also super great
Shoe compartment fits shoes, is ventilated etc. A little bit of a squeeze to get in as my helmet was at the bottom of the compartment, but not really an issue.
I wasn't sure at first that the front compartment would take all my clothes, but I'm a fool; jumper, shirt, trousers, socks, briefs, all fine. It might be a tight squeeze if you wanted to get a towel for showering, but again, it could go elsewhere. Again, ventilated which should help the bag with it's err, scent.
Bag stands up with all the kit inside, definitely useful when you're playing a smaller changing room. Also padding along the back feels nice and comfortable and you can't feel the bats digging into your back at any point. Also whilst you can't see it well the handle feels sturdy if you want to carry it around like a holdall.
Overall, fantastic bag and I can't really fault it at all and I expect many others to get one and agree with it. You might argue about it's price but I can see this being the bag I own for years and years and years to come.
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
