Balls for practice grays or newberry
« on: November 28, 2015, 01:16:22 PM »

Hi guys

The Danish cricket board are contemplating on swapping balls from grays to Newberry. We use kookaburra turf as match balls.

What are your thoughts?

I have some fantastic unbranded balls for sale. County standard that would be £20 plus with the branding. I'm selling for £10 each with further discounts for bulk orders. If anyone is interested let me know and I will send some pictures.

As it is, I have no jurisdiction on what their choice will be, but they asked me what I thought, but didnt give me a chance to play with it, so useless really. I will take your feedback and submit it to the board.

Our bulk buy would only be for practice, not matches. I really doubt that the board want to shift from the kooka turf.

Please do bare in mind, we only play with white balls - since we all play in colored kit.

I can provide white balls at various prices

The lower priced ones won't be as good obviously, but I have never played with anything as bad as a newbery ball

Grays havnt been good at all this year! Dont last at all! One game i had a ball split on me in the 22nd over! Best ive bowled with is the Kestral, use it for sunday matches. In expensive and hold their shape and shine up well.
