It's irrelevant I'm afraid mate, they'll still hold some intellectual rights over the brand if I'm not mistaken - if you launched a new brand called 'Empire Cricket' they could easily get you shut down regardless of how often/how much they're trading - they technically still have a presence online from their minimal website which would be enough (I believe, if I'm wrong someone please correct me!).

To be honest with you, you'll struggle to find a decent name nowadays that hasn't already been done/tried...

If your thinking of empire/imperial route maybe Regalia or Heraldry. But if you want something with a wood theme like you started with maybe Aborist. Then make a massive T20 slogbat and call it the Aborist Lumberjack

Use the letters from your name or your preferred brand name eg. Empire Cricket = EC. The has worked for SS, RK, Nb etc.
Still think a Star Wars theme would be cooler. Fear will turn you to the dark side.
