Kookaburra Gloves - Cricket Direct
« on: December 03, 2015, 06:20:14 PM »

I was just wandering through the Cricket Direct clearance page, and stumbled across a really weird pair of Kook batting gloves
Just wondered if anyone had seen them before, because they just look weird

Tapatalk isn't uploading my picture, so here is the hyperlink:

Thoughts?

Clearance!?

I think we sold them for less than that when we had them in as current stock a few years ago.

'Twas the great Sports Direct sale of Autumn 2013 during which I picked up a pair of these for £19.00. Very decent gloves, Pittards, good quality, nicely flexible, excellent protection. Still using them, so they have worn well. Irrespective of whether or not one likes the styling (and I have had no comments when I've been batting - well maybe about me, yes, but not the gloves) nearly £60 is an awful lot to pay for a discounted / on sale glove? Crikey.

Found a couple of pairs of kook gloves in eBay.
No good to me because they're left handed, but I can't remember them being this colourful.

Really liked the menace gloves, but were a bit tight on me. What model are those black gloves?

I picked up some of the Kookaburra Instinct 1250 gloves for a good price in a sale. Absolutely lovely gloves.
