G1+ bat - £159 delivered!

Grade 1+ CE Bats.

Choice of clefts with either 12,13 or 17 grains, handpicked softly pressed clefts.

These clefts are the same as Superbests and are one level down from clefts reserved for Pro players.

Here they are



16 Grains, slight marks on the face



12/13 Grains about 4 heartwood



14 grains, slight imperfection further up the blade

Its hard to count the grains on the face of the bats so give me one grain either way.  The clefts have been softly pressed with little/no bow.

I thought i'd offer these to the forum before i take them down my club at the weekend.  For £159 these represent a bargain.  These clefts are reserved for the top of the range bats at a large well known company who sell them for £250++.

Only 3 available, all have been lightly pressed and have very little bow in the blades.  The only piece of warning i shall give is that these will be guns of bats but the durability of them will be alot less than a normal blade.  Knocking in is a must!

Can I just check on the price of bats now Chris because I thought anyone who entered the competition was eligible for a Grade One bat for £99 plus postage?

Competition entrants like Tom says are still entitled to a G1 bat for £99, this is available unti the end of August.  

G1+ clefts are a good deal more than G1 at present due to the lack of high number grained clefts.

They are graded on weight/density, then looks and then performance, but you find the higher the grains the better the performance as many will know.
