Hey Guys,
I just got my BDM Sting grade 2 or 3 bat. I had ordered it from onlinestockist on the 28th of November and gave him my spec of min 40mm edge, 63mm spine swell, no concaving, 6 to 8 grains & 2.10 to 2.12 weight range. At checkout there was an option to get your bat knocked in and oiled and I selected only Knocked in and no oiling. Well I received it today and was happy with the bat. Overall happy with the seller, he provided me with 2 scuff sheet, 1 extra octopus grip. The shipping was super fast he shipped from India on the 7th and I received it today at 11am in UAE.
Overall happy- I received a 2.9 bat, no concaving 43mm edge and 64mm spine. only disappointment was that it has 12 to 13 grains. Bat taps quiet good, I could see the indentations made on the bats face while they knocked it but when I bounced a ball it left few seam marks that shows that I still need to knock it in before match.
Now I am waiting for my 2nd bat from Ajit (onlinestockist), this one is also from BDM and same category Sting but I have asked him to get it made in Sachin Tendulkars profile but with 6 to 8 grains and max 3lbs.
This one is awesome and hope the next one which should be here soon is also a cracker.

BDM are producing some cracking bats and proving to be excellent value for money! Interested in how the other bat turns out. I have been thinking of getting one as well but can't make up my mind between BDM, BAS and RNS.

My teammate uses BAS and its good, I used to have RNS once I straight drove a ball from the middle and it cracked, But I think it was too dry. BDM bats are superb and they don't like to advertise much. I had BDM T20 bat which had 10mm edge but it was a gun. My knowledge is that Spartan, BDM, SS, SG, RNS, BAS & Gray Nics collect their willow form same place and SS, BDM & SG manufacture bats for other brands too.

Most bat making brands buy their English willow from J.S. Wright and Sons LTD, I couldn't tell you if BDM do as well

I'd be surprised if they don't! Nice looking bat @inzaghi316 - can't go too wrong with BDM, the ones I've seen used have all been good

Me too, no idea but ther finished product is excellent.

I don't think Gray Nicolls do, as they grow their own willow.

quick question: is the bat weight 2 lb 9 oz or is it 2.9 lb (2 lb 14.5 oz)?

in other words, is it 1162 grams or 1315 grams?

btw the bat looks really good for a G2.
