The commentators on ABC Radio the other day were talking about a tee shirt they had seen that read:
"The bowlers Holding, the batsmans Willey..." Cracked me up!  :D

That was actually said live on TV by a commentator!

Bat a bit. Bowl a bit. Not too bad at point either!

3rd Test at the SCG, Windies won the toss and bat.

Australia 1 Joe Burns, 2 David Warner, 3 Usman Khawaja, 4 Steven Smith (capt), 5 Adam Voges, 6 Mitchell Marsh, 7 Peter Nevill (wk), 8 James Pattinson, 9 Steve O'Keefe, 10 Josh Hazlewood, 11 Nathan Lyon.

West Indies 1 Kraigg Brathwaite, 2 Shai Hope, 3 Darren Bravo, 4 Marlon Samuels, 5 Jermaine Blackwood, 6 Denesh Ramdin (wk), 7 Jason Holder (capt), 8 Carlos Brathwaite, 9 Kemar Roach, 10 Jerome Taylor, 11 Jomel Warrican.

SOK in for Siddle.
Hope in for Chandrika

7 NSW boys playing on their home ground. Looking forward to seeing Lyon and SOK in tandem.

Rain effected first day at the SCG with the Windies closing on 6/207. Youngster Kraigg Brathwaite top scoring with 85. Nathan Lyon was particularly impressive with the ball bagging a couple of wickets.

Rain wrecked the second day in Sydney, only 68 balls where possible. But big Carlos Brathwaite smashed an entertaining 69 before Jimmy Pattinson ended his fun.

It was good to see the WI batsmen to apply themselves though, not thinking that they are just here to try their luck. Really want to see Ramdin go away and give up for another batsman. He has been tried a little too many times.

Plenty of turn for Lyon. If the Windies can get 300 and get amongst Aus then it could still be a good test. Only saw some bits of the cricket but O'Keeffe doesn't turn it much does he?

SOK seems to just be darting it in to middle and leg. Bizarre as his FC record is quite fantastic

Surprised they didn't pick a leggy given how WI struggled with Tahir. Quite a few decent ones going around too, zampa and boyce.
Hearing Day 3 looks to be another wash out. Decent result that for the west indies

No way either Boyce or Zampa are ready for Test cricket. Still a couple of years away for both.
