Very special new bat!
« on: December 12, 2015, 04:50:18 PM »

My wife had her first go at pod shaving yesterday, making a bat for our six years old, she is going for a full profile, tendulkar shape but with 50 mm edges and a shorter blade. It may be a laminate, I am not sure.

She has picked a really sweet and super light cleft.

Inevitably it is taking some time!!

Special handle shape with unique weight distribution to enhance pick up.

Very exciting. Pics to follow

Very nice, I think I actually might score more runs with that...

Oh my word, that's making me drool!

This is a bat I wouldn't want to get the runs with though...  :D

Looks an absolute belter, what's the density like on this one? Looks like it's light and fluffy

I want one of these bats

Looks really amazing. Would the sticky layer in the middle make it illegal though?

That is the 'sweetest' looking bat I've seen in a long time.
Good job you highlighted that it was a light cleft...

I would say 'enjoy', but suspect it is now all gone.
