Forum Trends for 2016
« on: December 14, 2015, 11:43:36 AM »

Calling out a few things to watch for in 2016:-

Value for Money - less pricey bats and more lower grade bats (G1 clefts are getting rarer)
IJC lead in knowing where the bat was made
Huge edges
Warner/Distinction profile
Actually oversized clefts!

Heavy oversized bats judging by recent posts! 2016 looks like the year of 2lb14+ bats.

Many, many purchases of 2.14 monster bats, which curiously appear up for sale before the season begins

2.14 bats are not gonna become a trend...... I know this as have loads on sale at a bargain price and sod all interest.

2.14 is an awesome weight though.

Forum trends, Warner esque bats, fibreglass scuff sheets, focus cricket, spiked trainers, stem guards or other brands that are available.

Forum members using 1 sentence replies to provoke with ever explaining what there view is...... Oh wait that happens anyway.

G1 grades can't  be getting  rarer when  we have plenty of G1++, A++++, Pro Players etc readily available

Exactly what I was thinking..

Seems enough for every man and his dog to be sponsored with grainy clefts and still more around.. Smoke and mirrors again??

G1 are not rairer the fact more and more brands pop up who don't have access to the clefts as you have to buy limits Ie even number across the grades the smaller maker struggle to get grade 1
