I bought a Newberry Blitz just recently, but it doesn't have the same grip on it as the website images or your video review. It was sent to Shanghai if that narrows it down a bit.

Is the grip on it now a black or dark coloured grip? If so it would have been changed by IJC to match there platinum lounge

Is the grip really that big an issue?
I honestly wouldn't mind receiving a bat without one, as I normally take off/change the factory grip while getting the handle to my set up anyway...

Agreed, plain white chevron grip always goes on top of the factory fitted grip for me so I'm never bothered what comes with the bat.

yeah with ya on that...and of course should anyone else pick up the said bat, happen to mention the pick up 'is a bit heavy' then straight into the kit bag to put 2 grips on the thing in the hope it 'resolves your batting problem'

I have played with a bloke who was so paranoid unless his grip set up was right he refused to bat and went number 11. This was one of the better batsmen ive played with.

Sorry we never saw this! Which grip was on it when it arrived?
