Which B3 shape
« on: December 18, 2015, 05:38:17 PM »

Assuming I will get 50% off deal I am thinking about my 1st B3 bat shape.
Below is what I am looking for:
1) Long middle (ping everywhere )
2) Front foot is my go to shot. So, I need something that has mid - low sweet spot.
2) Thick toe
3) Full profile
4) Fully dressed 2.9.5 - 2.10
5) Awesome balance
Not worried about edge size/bow/face (rounded or flat). I just need a best possible bat.
I am even thinking of going for shorter blade bat if needed to achieve my specs (provided it won't affect the balance of the bat).
Is there any existing B3 design that is close to what I am looking for or should I go for a bespoke?

Thanks.

I would just talk it out with Streaky mate, be miles easier talking straight to the guy who's making it and it doesn't help that he's know's some kind of bat voodoo to make them awesome as well haha

Have a read of my post on the thread relating to the offer - hopefully that will shed a little light. Happy to talk you through once you have an idea.

I'd ask nicely for a lower density cleft and go with a 1271. It fulfills all these requirements and is a satisfying shape too. Just needs a lighter cleft as there's so much wood in it.

What is the weight of a 1271 made with an average cleft?

Take a look at the doctors post in the original thread think a 400 comes in at 2.15ish (it's on the bat shape poster number 20 I think from memory). I've a GM epic players edition which I presume is a similar shape with thick shoulders and really good coverage (of course doesn't mean you won't mistime the ball).

SERIES
A definition of a SERIES bat is the following – a DB1 / DB2 / DB3

CUSTOM
A definition of a CUSTOM bat is bat numbers 4 to 25 in the bat chart OR a bat designed on our website on the custom bat builder.

Additional Profile weights
New TKC / DW - 2lb 15
DW- small Edge / BIG spine - 2lb 13.5oz
Typhon - 3lb

So many choices!
Not sure if I should go for a DB2, number 11, number 21 or a Warner small edge shape.
Then I need to chose which stickers...

Would anyone be able help me in a similar way? I currently have an oblivion e41 LH. But i would like a longer sweet spot with more wood in the toe.

Any ideas?

Ring streky and bespoke it via skype if you live along way away pal.

You can create what you want we can map then make changes to your shape mate.
