I am still in two minds over getting a bat on this deal. I like the look of some of the profiles but the quality in blades have been disappointing. Especially the 3 stripe grade.
I would be very grateful for your code for the deal if you choose not to use it.
Codes are non transferable as far as I know
I think I'd cry if I opened a brand new bat to find a dent in the spine like that Other than that lovely looking bat, if I wanted to stir shit up I may even say it looks better than some of the 3 stripes posted
Cheers Cam for your comment I do disagree but thanks for your comments. As for the packaging I'm upset about this as it something I was told was rectified and I have let b3 know my issue with this as well.
No mate just comments can be mistook no issue from me at all pal.Hope you enjoy your bat and others there's....Lot of what you say is tongue in cheek I see good way to be is using humour ,wit, sarcasm,.
Here's my 50% off B3. It's a new DB1 LB. It's meant to be 2lb 9.5oz finished. It feels a bit lighter than that, because it is - 2lb 8.5oz according to my scales. Pretty happy with that! It's my first LB and it's an idea I've been flirting with for a while but never pulled bought an LB. So when this opportunity came up I thought it was time to try. It's a grainilicious 1-stripe (~13-14) with a couple of stains/hard bars. I like it - plenty of grains and character - for a 1-stripe.The finishing is superb - it's right up there with the best I've had including L&W and Salix. But that was offset by some minor dents the bat suffered on its way down under. There is a prominent dent on the peak of the spine and one on the toe. This is disappointing considering I had asked for it to be packaged with extra bubble wrap. Unfortunately the bat was placed in a plastic bag then wrapped with a layer of single sided corrugated card before being placed inside the bat box - with no bubblewrap! I would have been pretty unhappy if I had spent more money on it.Haven't tested the ping yet. Don't want to disturb the neighbours tonight. Judging from everyone's experience, I'll probably just knock the toe and edges before netting with it.
