If we're all playing stitch up the guy who packs the bats:

My bat arrived in a fairly thick box, inside the box it was in a plastic bag then had a sheet of corrugated cardboard around it. No bubble wrap.

My bat arrived ding free and I thought nothing more of it, but if people are saying they always use bubble wrap there may be a bigger issue in the background.

I think we need to be perfectly clear when these bats were sent as this has been a relatively new implemention. Cannot remember precisely but approx 2 weeks ago I think.

no they always didn't use bubble wrap that was the original issue but thought it was all sorted but obviously not.

Will be sorted now though I can assure you of that.

I think my package would then have been sent just before this new implementation (bubble wrap) was put in place but mine arrived safe & sound to Singapore, so the courier used would have taken care of the package I reckon, so would like to applaud them for the service.

Mine was prior to this. Although an overseas shipment of a cricket bat I would have thought would have had some sort of protective packaging but mine just had the box it came in and the bat cover I bought with the bat...

No harm done though, a couple of small dings that won't affect the playability at all. Just a minor issue I had at the time. I am happy though as the bat is a cracker and I think I may have pushed some business your way from some of my opposition players as well as my own team mates

When I ship bats within USA, I ask FedEx to mark the package as fragile. The sporting goods need to be delivered in the same shape. FedEx ensures the package is not roughly handled during transit. Never had a ding or dent on the bat anywhere.

@procricket B3 - may be u guys can also ask the shipper to mark it as a such ??

Mine had a couple of dents along the spine and was covered up pretty well; no idea how it came about but I'm still not too fussed about something so minor...

Shipping wise mine was one of earlier delivered ones and it arrived with no dents or issues even though it was just in a box with cardboard sleeve and no bubblewrap that I can remember
