I'd be chuffed with that
I hope he gets a regular bat,, there's a coupla really good batters in his team, so would be nice for him to bat with them.

His GM has broke again, so he's using the special one
I might treat him to one of matts, maybe similar to petes long blade

That LB is very special! Would be impressed if Matt could come up with another one that special although the clefts that were drying out on our last visit did look amazing!

Yeah Pete
The other thing with Jnr is, he's a right wimpy bugger, his bats are 2.7! Even tho he's 6.5
Hopefully the two bats he's robbed off me will see him out over there.

That lb of yours is very nice

I noticed you were showing no mercy to the balls when you were using it against the bowling machine! And I noticed that nobody dare venture into net 1 when you were sending the balls to all parts VERY quickly! It sounded like a gunshot! I do need to knock and play it in though as there are plenty of seam marks after our last net - but it can only improve once it's knocked and played in and starts to open up! So remind me not to let you use it when bowling at you otherwise there are likely to be injuries!  :(

Yup nice bat that Pete, will be a cracker after some use

Would never have considered a long blade before
But it works well

Monkey Jnr took three wickets today, and a win
Batting, he skied it down long ons throat, that's what you get watching me bat for years

Here's a funny one for you guys
I asked him which bat he'd used, as he'd taken his gm and my two match bats over with him, just before he went out to bat, he noticed two or three large cracks on his bat handle?
So instead, took out one of my bats,to bat.
After the game, one of his teammates asked him about the bat swap, and he told them why
His mate looked at his bat and said'what cracks'?
The cracks had closed up?

Weird humidity or something in New Zealand ?

Good to see him doing well over there! Hoping he's bang in form for our season too and takes a bucket load of wickets for us now we've been promoted!
