Anyone for another net at Dummer?
« on: January 06, 2016, 12:20:18 AM »

Calling all you southern softies

As it was such a good day last time (I thought so, anyway) does Anyone fancy another net at Dummer? As it takes a bit of planning lets say a weekend in February.

Just a quick heads up, it will probably cost a bit more this time. As we were lucky enough to get 2 nets for the price of one last time I'm thinking 2 lanes is the way to go, and as people are starting to have their winter nets I'd have to book them both to ensure we got use of them.
Who fancies it then? Names and when you're free in February please?

yes !!

I thought you would never ask !! :) we love a bit of practice

Saturdays best for me too in Feb, any one I will make myself available...

be good to see the joyful look in Nick's and Bruce's eyes light up as another right handed victim puts the pads on.

I can't bowl- I have 'baseball shoulder' i'm told, but I can feed that machine for anyone who wants it

cost not an issue.

look forward to it.

Depending on the date, and presuming it's a Saturday, then I might be able to make this - logistically it isn't overly bad on trains (so long as someone can give us a lift from the station!!)

Too lazy too search Cam, where is Dummer?.
The missus would do her nut if I told her I was going to have a net that was over a hundred miles away.

Cheers Cam, probably an hour and half minimum, would love to come and put some faces to names and see the kit on show but that would have to be classed as extreme netting.
