I've never looked at any JP Gavan bats before - it's quite refreshing looking at his website that he states his bats are pressed and handled in India and he finishes them.

Those bats are monsters.

Is it me or do the cracks look a bit wider than you would expect if it had been glued and clamped. I'm sure it's just the photo though or he didn't get time to do anything but a light sand.

Those edges look stupidly square!
Good for the ego, but not for mis timing a new ball.

It's also a shame no one has measured the moisture content to see just how dry they are to get that ridiculous size

At nearly 14lb i wouldnt say very dry. What amazes me most is the bat speed lynn can generate with this tree!

I was also wondering how strong Chris Lynn must be to generate that kind of bat speed. I asked JPG today about the apparent crack in the toe and was assured that it was glued/filled and was given a full refurbishment.

It also had an "S" stamped on the shoulder.
