Hi i have a vertical surface crack running down the grain closest to the edge of the bat and want to give it the best protection so my question is should i put edge tape on the edge of the bat then a scuff sheet or a scuff sheet then the edge tape?
Thanks in advance for your help.

First Edge tape then scuff as it will help prevent edge tape peeling off

Always done scuff then tape, never had an issue with tape coming off in the slightest, plus much easier to remove.

I do mine as I get the scuff sheet place it on cut the edges off and then replace with bat tape to fold over the edges don't know why just picked it up off of a YouTube video I believe I like it though because the edges of the scuff sheet appear to be where it can split the most
