Kookaburra Blade Strike

I bought these pads off 3d Sports for a bargain £27 posted, the protection is second to none and they are lighter than the other pads I own

can you wear them lower on foot, considering buying some runners as found them cheap but didnt think they were low sitting like ice an rp...?
