I know our Antipodean cousins are a somewhat easy target but I have to repeat a quote I heard during the interval piece Sky did on grade cricket 'There are very few places in the world that has Bondi beach on it's doorstep', brilliant.

Besides, think of all the synergies between tyre manufacturing and bat making - makes perfect sense

I was mistaken about Sharma's bat.

There is rubber in the handle, must be tyre grade ;)

Ive got a brittania, by that i mean cheap bat stickered up as one, downstairs, 3lb beast, the old man scored 1500 runs or so with it !
