Visited Matt before Christmas and hand picked some clefts including a cleft which was saved fora County Pro. We have just received the first batch and I am very pleased with them. Matt has a good knowledge and it was pleasure to discuss various aspects of bat making.

All I can say about these are truly amazing bats I was down h4l when Asad visited and you really did pick some amazing clefts look even better than I remember the monster is just class and was set aside for one of the Kent boys can't see these bats being around long mate as they really quality sticks that for sure

I think it's around the 2.14 mark mate it's a massive bat that's for sure and was set aside for one of the Kent lads really big bat that's for sure

close to 3.0 lb but pick up is exceptionally good

Il testify that H4L Warbird Monster picks up unbelievably well, better than my 2.9 SS

It feels like a serious bit of kit in the hands as well and the shorter blade longer handle didn't effect my stance at all

After every single photo ive seen of a h4l, ugly willow even being within 5 miles of that place must be a myth!

Having been to matts workshop a fair few times I can honesty say that I not seen a really ugly bit off willow down their yet
