Filler in GM handles
« on: January 16, 2016, 04:39:03 PM »

I took off the back sticker on my old GM Epic LE and found this white filler. Rock hard and never seen anything like this

Can anyone shed some light onto this?

Did you buy it direct from a retailer? or off someone? i'm not saying it in an untoward way but there could be a rational reason behind it if purchased off an individual, maybe?

World cricket store is owzat. Having the exact same address at the bottom of the page gives that away.

Jason mallet is cricketstoreonline.

Nothing tondo with each other.

When was he last time GM made the epic? It can't have been for atleast 4 years? How old is the bat? Has it caused issue. If presume it's just a bad handle shaped job and filler put under sticker to hide it.

The bat is a few years old, hasn't caused any issues and I used it quite a bit. Just a bit weird to find it  ???

The Indian made ones are either Kashmir willow or are intended for the Indian market, and will say made in India (or something to that effect) on the stickers I think.

That's not right. Bang an email and that photo over to GM and the retailer, if you haven't already.

I was thinking to send an email it wouldn't really matter as I've grown out of the bat now. Could be worth a try to convince them it's a short handle and get a replacement  ;)

It's a size 6 and I agree it was a fab profile. Reminds me of a series 1 screaming cat profile.
