A quick review and a thank you
« on: January 22, 2016, 03:21:11 AM »

I just came back from a work trip and there were 2 boxes waiting for me, @i12breakfree thanks mate the Mana made its way here

Secondly thank you to @cover_drive for amazing biryani in Toronto and keeping me company between flights. I am still hungry for that biryani after eating 2 full containers in one sitting that would have fed 4 people. It was great to talk gear with you.

Now moving onto the second box, which had 3 lovely bats in them. 3 profiles:  green one is srt, black one is duckbill toe and blue one is spine all the way to the bottom. No concaving on srt, mild concaving on blue stickers and slightly heavier on duckbill.

Before you get to the pics here is a bit of a challenge guess the weight and grade of each bat ;)

Also @i12breakfree you are excluded as you know the weight of mana and srt is exact same weight.

Here we go...

Duckbill edge

Srt edge

Blue stickers edge

Mana vs Srt

And yes I have a problem. I haven't decided what I am going to do with these bats yet but I can't have that many in my living room and my garage is still full lol

It was pleasure meeting you @tushar sehgal and have a chat, it was great to see you. I am glad you enjoyed the biryani, apparently they are most renowned biryani vendor in Toronto and have a distinctive history after being originating from Karachi.

Those bats are lovely, especially Sachin Tendulkar's profile. I feel that low middle will be great for Canadian pitches. I guess all of those RS are Grade 1? I am guessing SRT one is 2.11 (I don't think you told me the weight).

Thank you for your time on Monday.

Nice profile on the SRT, must be 2.12 at least.

Glad Mana reached in time.
Lovely collection of RS bats there. I am really impressed with their quality. The finishing is top notch and very well pressed.
So looks like you are almost ready for 2016 ;)

All the weight guesses are wrong so far

Let's give you a bit more hints :)

Duckbill is the heaviest, followed by SRT & then Blue stickered one. Grade of willow on all 3 is different!!

They are indeed big. They felt light and then the scale proved it

SRT picks up incredibly light and so does the blue stickered one. Duckbill picks like its weight which was a surprise
