Heading over to Adi's Indoor Net Saturday mid-day
« on: January 22, 2016, 04:03:34 PM »

A couple of us are going over to Adi's @ProCricketer1982  tomorrow at mid-day for a net. Anybody interested in joining us? If there is then a bit of notice would be good. It's a bowling machine setup, so just batting practise only.

2 hours of forward defensive work as a minimum, followed by 2 hours leaving the ball outside off  :D

ask pro if he knows Tetbury's ground we played there on tour and also the Cheltenham Police ground, it's in a sort of a dip/like a valley. We got taken for a hundred there by one of the coppers with 50 per cent of his bat covered in black electrical tape. We stopped laughing when he was on about 70 mostly in 6's......

Same tour one of our blokes went out for a walk at about 11pm and we found him hanging upside down from some railings at breakfast. He had been there all night.

I've been to their ground once when the team played in a cup game (before I played competitive stuff for them), seemed an OK ground for a village. It was very cold and wet that day so harsh to judge on that. Cops I've played a few games for (moonlighting) in their national cup comp, there are a few handy players who barely play outside of for the police games.
