McClenaghan hit through grill
« on: January 25, 2016, 06:22:30 AM »

McClenaghan has copped a nasty one through the grill of his Masuri.

Is it the old style grill?

Old style Masuri.

I understand there lighter and some prefer the visions but the protection just isn't there. A nasty incident.

Hopefully Mitch gets well soon and it doesn't effect him in the future.

The ball went through with no resistance at all. May as well not have had a helmet on

Serious gap between grill and peak he's got it on, not the brightest from a happy hooking tailender.

The grill looks like it was set to the widest opening size, hence why the ball went in so easily.

What a dill. Completely his own fault when safer helmets are freely available.

The hot spot view is interesting! Old lid bit still went to the trouble of a stem guard. Strange really

Yes old masuri but the setting on the grill was on the large gap. Hope he makes a full recovery
