Bought this last year after seeing the ZiZi profile on the thread. Inspired by the design I decided to jump on the opportunity to get my hands on it as per usual I made the 'I need a thicker toe on that' amendment which was aptly made up by the doctor. If i am honest, this bat was made from a beautiful low density cleft with a metric poo tonne of grains which I shall leave you to count
Vitals going on what I can remember:
Edge; 40mm
Spine: 58mm
Weight: 2.11
Pick up: <2.9 ish
Reluctancy to use such a beautiful specimen of a bat led me to not use it for a long time just so I could show off the pristine blade to all of my club mates to enforce a bit of envy which I am sure a lot of people loved
but after a barrage of people telling me its not worth buying it if i don't use it, I was forced into action by giving it to a big slugger to see whether they could do something with it so any edge marks would not be my fault. Noble, i know
The best way I can describe it is and i can directly quote it 'all round chunk' because the toe and shoulders are in excess of 17mm each I believe. With that chunk the bat performs beautifully and just has a massive slap when the ball comes off anywhere on the blade. I have only netted with it so far and cannot fault it but I am in love with the new bat I got so this may take a back seat somewhat. Cannot wait to use it in the uni season and see where to go from there but I will leave you to decide what you think about it, enjoy!
I think that based on the two bats I have received from B3, they are pumping out some absolute guns and lovely looking guns at that. Some times there are a lot of things (mainly bats) one should own and in my opinion a B3 is most definitely one of them.
