Bat Stash

A teammate of mine has often talked of his collection of 100+ bats but to be honest, not too many of us believed him.

Anyway, tonight I had the pleasure of going to have a look at them, and they're real and very impressive!  He's wanting to free up some cash to buy an engagement ring so I took a few off his hands.

Considering most of the bats I've taken are top models, rare, limited editions, oz imports etc, it gives you an idea of some of the bats he's kept!

Many of the bats are unused, some used only in nets and some have had match use.

Was quite surprised at what big chunks of wood the maxis are!  Suppose hence the name?

Possibly for me it was the profile, everyone raved about the purist but for me the maxi was so much more attractive! Wouldn't mind a set of: purist maxi and hero either!! Honestly think gm peaked in 2005 such good looking range of bats!
