Guess the bat and grade ?
« on: February 05, 2016, 09:13:28 AM »

A bit of fun. It is a junior bat but see if you can guess what it is and the grade from the grains.

Getting closer.

It is actually a GN SuperNova Academy in size 4. It is the entry level English willow bat rrp £50. Purchased as always from UZI sports.
Asad  always amazes me at the quality of his junior bats, you can tell he hand picks them. This is for my youngest son. It also pings very nicely and is very light (compared to other size 4s).
I was just amazed at how good it looks for basically a "first" hardball bat.

Generally there are some very good bats to be found in the academy grade (which is english willow sizes 0-4, the 'alternative willow' you are on about gary is on another model, grown in eastern Europe)
