Haven't seen one of these in a while on here.
« on: February 10, 2016, 06:56:11 AM »

So here is a new little bargain I managed to pick up. Haven't seen Hammer mentioned or spoke about in a while and hadn't seen any of there bats for a while.
Sourced from a seller on eBay is this Hammer Patriot Core bat. Weight is 2.9 edge is 37mm and very little concaving with a nice mid profile straight grains with some heartwood on my outside edge as a RH bat. A couple of little bits of speck towards top and toe of the blade but playing area is clean with I make is 10 grains.
Embossed stickers in what looks like to me the USA colour scheme and with the name patriot I'm guessing it was a model designed for US market. Nice simple design with very good quality stickers and a nice navy GM control grip which is my grip of choice so added bonus. Oval handle at the bottom as well.
Finish is also very good with a lovely smooth and polished finish. Not sure if this is UK made and if it is by who, I believe some earlier ones were TK bats, be pleased if this is for what it cost. Any ideas?
If anyone knows a bit about this model then please let me know a bit about it. If not enjoy some pics

That binding looks the same as I've had on the couple of TK bats I've owned.

With Tk's the binding is usually more yellow looking from the type of glue they brush over it. Also normally looks more shiny.....

Lovely looking bat tho

Is this bat number 30 since the "i'm only using 1 bat next year" thread?

Laver, b3 and and is from Affinty have made bats for Jason.

I believe there was an actual patriot, but anyone requesting these or the Indian stickers were often granted. So it could be any shape.

He did switch to making the lower ranges in India, my old hammer(green stickers) was an Indian made.
