Good to see Kevin Pietersen was being his usual dignified self about selection on social media...

Vince was just starting in the 1st team when KP was at Hants. Poor of KP to criticise a newly selected player. Suspect Wrighty would have a very different attitude.

I'm actually far more offended by it than I have any right to be. I can understand wanting to back his mate but why would you slag a promising young player off like that? No need at all. Also wasn't Vince, not Wright, the highest run scorer in the T20 blast last season?

Vince is a good player, I think England will get him in the team somehow this summer, quality T20,one day and 4 day player

Like the post above, you can't imagine Luke Wright wants to see that in the media-whether Wright was picked or not.....

There's a T20 merry go round for KP to play and earn the bucks.....BYE !!

Does make me laugh that the people on here get so wound up by what KP says and then go on to say he's a "has been" etc. If he's a "has been" and has no influence and/or you don't care about him, why get so riled up by his words?

He's not employed by the ECB anymore and knows he has no future with the ECB so has the same right as anyone to say what he thinks whether you agree or not. There will be 100's more on Twitter saying the exact same thing yet you won't be posting about their words, so he clearly has some sort of influence.

The only reason Luke Wright is being so humble on social media is that he knows he's probably the next choice and if an injury arises he could still be picked and doesn't want to burn any bridges.

KP as always split opinion and is doing once again, like always though, we are the only Country that wouldn't be having KP in their squad.

Precisely, the bloke is clearly just after some media hype however if it were a different nation it'd be a different story.

Would England pick Chris Gayle with his regular antics? Would England have picked David Warner after his punch up? Etc, etc...

Kp may not be in England squad, he may have issues around his ego and his mouth.

But anyone denying he can play cricket, or from what i am seeing, is denying he was any good when in an England shirt needs to take there blinkers off and or get there head tested.

The man did play some awesome cricket in an England shirt.

Whether or not its media hype, this is the same KP that was begging england to take him back last summer. He is a bitter old man, England might be better with him but it might not bethe right thing to do... Like any omnormal relationship between anyone. No likey no lighty!
