Does anyone have any experience of using izettle or similar mpos to accept card payments either at their clubs or outside?
It's been raised as a possibility at my club recently.

They are ok but you need signal. I use world pay machine that uses best signal at that time so it flicks between all the phone providers. Not cheap at £15 a month though and then charged per transaction. Think the izettle etc are one payment then a percentage charged each transaction or minimum charge if not a high transaction.

Cheers Kev.
Looking into it izettle is free to start up and then 2.75% transaction charge which I guess we could pass on to customer.
Signal is pretty good at our club so should be ok.

PayPal Here @thecord you pay a little more per transaction but its free once you've bought the card reader, its what ive set-up at the club for people who want to pay their subs on a card or try and use the old" ive not bought any cash" for their match fees....or when youve ran out of cash and need to get your round in at the bar!

People can also paypal across funds as well then if they havent got a card as they will have their phone on them no doubt.

You can link account to most phones/ipads.
