I'm writing this with a huge smile on my face after just receiving a wonderful parcel at the office today...
So I contacted George after seeing all the rave reviews on here and loved the idea of having some custom thigh guards as my Aero P1s were now old, battered and too bulky. After a few emails and some interesting pictures of me wearing templates (will leave that to the imagination!) George recommended some sizes and we discussed customization.
Now being the huge geek that I am and having a near life long obsession with a certain Dark Knight I thought 'why not?' and went for some graphics from my favourite graphic novel 'The Killing Joke'. I decided to change the approach and went all out Joker after seeing the initial designs and I'm thrilled.
I only placed my order for these on Sunday night. It's now Thursday morning and I have them in my hands!
Obviously these won't be to everyone's tastes but I love them more than I thought I would. I just need to get bending them now, although the fit isn't far away straight out of the bag. The quotes and graphics also say a lot about my batting on occasion!
