Wagner proving what I suspected all along,  he's rubbish  when he can't bounce out Sri Lankans.  Bowled 3 overs for plenty.

Wagner
32.1 overs, 6 maidens, 6-106. Economy 3.29

Innings strike rate of 32.17 and each wicket costing less than 18 runs  ;)

He also dismissed Burns for 170, Smith for 138 and Adam "Don" Voges for 60. What I'd give to be that rubbish...

Not seen the wickets myself so I can't comment on how well he actually bowled.

I thought you were joking! Just checked myself. Australia will be disappointed I'm sure.

Don't worry Saunders. We've all made an absolute tit of ourself by predicting the exact opposite too too soon.

I'm fairly confident in the long run making a career out of bowling half trackers probably won't work.

Whether Neil Wagner can make a cReer of continuously bowling bouncers remains to be seen. But this is how Baz likes to use Wagner. And many a time he's gonna a breakthrough when the ball stops swinging for Southee and Boult. And it's not like Wagner is a dibbly dobber just winging it in half way down. He was up at 140kph

Also good to see Jimmy Pattinson respond after getting a rollicking from Boof. Bowled really well and most importantly zero no balls

This might actually go 5 days. Will be interesting to see how Williamson gets on assuming they give him the captaincy.

Bang Bang, Bird gets both Anderson and Williamson (97). Just Watling and the bowlers now.
