BRADBURY M PLAYERS
« on: December 28, 2009, 10:08:56 AM »

BAT: Bought a BRADBURY M PLAYERS 2lb 5ozs from Greg Chappell Cricket Centre (Albion, Brisbane) for AUD$699 and it is simply an Exceptional Cricket Bat.
LOOK: With a rather "conservative" look with Navy/Gold Branding and quite simple stickers (compared to some) the BRADBURY M PLAYERS is a good looking bat with reasonably thick edges (30mm) and 11 grains in Grade 1 Willow.

PERFORMANCE: The BRADBURY M PLAYERS has an extremely broad sweet spot from just under the splice to just above the toe, across the full face of the bat. Even toward the edges you still get feel which hits like the middle. The extremely light weight gives amazing pick up so that driving is a dream and placement is the issue. Incredible bat speed means you don't have to be built like Andrew Symonds or Matt Hayden to be able to Pull or Cut balls to the boundary (for 4 or 6). I've lent the BRADBURY to a mate of mine who opens for our XI and he has hit 2 60s and a 40 whilst I've hit a 50 and a 9 N.O. I've owned quite a few bats/brands in my time and the BRADBURY M PLAYERS is a bat which is at the pinnacle, if not the best, with what we have available in Australia.

Bats are variable from stock photo's. you will find that people would like to see real life home taken pictures of the bat you have in your possession..

By the sounds of it, its a nice bat.. Would probley give some members a rock on.

Hahaha ;D

It's big, it's light and it pings! Bradburys marketing slogan for their bats. Suppose they keep it simple!

Nice Asics ;) 2lb 5 is quite light mate, with 30mm edges looks a stuuner :)
