Me again with another new acquisition.
There is already a review on this bat from Chad, but now it is in my possession courtesy of a swap it only seems fair that I do a review while I'm on a roll!
There isn't a lot to say about this bat really. A H4L G2 NV with 7 wide grains. They're nearly straight and run through the toe almost all at a 90 degree angle. The hitting area is nice and clean with a couple of blemishes, one on each edge.
The dead weight with a scuff sheet applied and 1.5 chevron grips is just over 2lb12, but it picks up a dream, I wouldn't have guessed that if I was asked what I think it weighed.
There is a small amount of concaving to help with the balance and pickup, with the spine running down to the toe.
If Julian Millichamp looked for a bat that sound d like a screaming cat when you tapped it up, this bat would be more like a lion who stood on a plug! Thanks to Chad knocking it in this is an absolute beast, if it were a dinosaur it would be a pingasuarus Rex!
In short we have a lovely H4L that performs as good as anything I've had recently, it's ok to be NV-ours if this one!
