Genuinely surprised anyone would pay that money for a ball on a string. Don't have a garage to hang a ball from... find a tree ... or have 4+ hours coaching for the same money

I get the same feeling when i see folks spend 1000s for a watch.  ;)

It's a personal preference and sometimes "i need to own it" attitude

It's not possible to get coaching in the US. Most of the coaches or good cricket stores with indoor nets/BOLA is centered in New York & San Francisco. Rest of the country you just have to work with youtube videos or some form of training videos. I have seen one team in my league use this training aid. It's good to help people understand what does it mean to connect the ball under the eye. It's also good to train people on cover drive, straight drive and on-drive. For people who live across the pond, this training tool is more like an indoor net system.

If you can wait, i can try and get some pics by end of this week or next week. It does come with a black bag. The whole unit breaks down into three components - 6 or 9 pieces of metal rods, 1 pair of nets with clips to connect them to the rods and a ball with a hook to hang it on top. It's a bit to heavy to carry around. If you have a local training center then they can surely put this as a permanent assembly in a corner, allowing batsman to get a feel for hitting before they start their game or net session against proper bowlers.
